After being together for over 11 years, Matt proposed to Alyssa in early March of 2020 with her whole family waiting at her favorite NYC restaurant to celebrate! The pair are planning a late summer 2021 wedding that elegantly reflects their passion for sustainability and spirituality.
With no detail going unnoticed, the bride has conceptualized an affair that will be zero waste, safe for her guests, and full of love and happiness. For starters, her gown is a custom piece made from reused fabrics, her bridesmaids will be recycling their dresses post wedding, and all stationary is made out of plantable, recycled paper... not to mention, several trees have been donated by her contracted vendors in the name of this big day!

Insuring a Happily Ever After
Alyssa and Matt have gone out of their way to make sure that their special day will reflect their personalities and intentional, caring lifestyle.
Beyond the dresses and invitations, Alyssa has secured a clean beauty makeup artist, a florist that will recycle all flowers, and selected registry items from fair trade sources. In their day to day life, Matt and Alyssa practice what they preach by maintaining a plastic free household, using non-toxic cleaning products, and donating their clothing on a regular basis. But besides being amazingly caring to others, they nurture there own relationship in many adorable and long-lasting ways. Their favorite things to casually do together are grab sushi, watch a movie, or take a stroll through the Farmer's Market. As for the future, their hopes are to build a loving home and travel the world together.
